Saudi Arabia Soccer Team Draws Russia, Uruguay and Egypt in Group A of 2018 FIFA World Cup

Saudi Arabia will face teams from Russia, Uruguay, and Egypt in Group A of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Group stage draw took place on December 1st at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

Russia, the host nation is making its 11th appearance in the World Cup. Saudi Arabia will play Russia in the opening match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup on June 14, 2018 at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.

Uruguay is making its 13th appearance in the World Cup. Saudi Arabia will play Uruguay on June 20, 2018 at Rostov Arena in Rostov-on-Don

Egypt is making its 3rd appearance in the World Cup. Saudi Arabia will play Egypt on June 25, 2018 at Volgograd Arena in Volgograd.

The top two teams from Group A will advance to the knockout stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Saudi Arabia is making its 5th appearance in the FIFA World Cup.The Green Falcons previously competed in 1994, 1998, 2002 and 2006. The best showing by the Saudi National Team was in 1994, when they advanced to the Round of 16.
