During an interview on Special Report with Bret Baier on Fox News Channel, the Foreign Minister His Excellency Adel al-Jubeir discussed Yemen, Iran and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s meeting with President Donald Trump.
According to the Foreign Minister, the Crown Prince and President Trump have a great personal relationship, our two nations see eye-to-eye on strategic issues and President Trump deserves a lot of credit for taking the Saudi-American relationship to new heights.
On Yemen, Saudi Arabia is committed to a peaceful solution, while the Houthis have launched over 100 ballistic missiles. On humanitarian issues, Houthis are blocking humanitarian aid from reaching the people who need it.
On Iran, the foreign minister noted that the nuclear deal has serious flaws, and that any fix to the agreement would include sanctions on ballistic missile program and support for terrorism in the region.
