Since assuming his role as Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman has shown the world that his schedule is always full, he has a great ability to juggle all the demands of his position, and above all, there is no stopping his ambitious agenda for reform in Saudi Arabia. His agenda for second week of his US visit it packed, multi city, and covers numerous time zones. They include stops in New York, Boston, Houston, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

At his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, the Crown Prince discussed the ongoing critical alliance between the two countries, which dates back eight decades. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and his delegation also met with Secretary of Defense James Mattis, as well as discussions with leading members of Congress on Capitol Hill.

The rest of the trip for the Crown Prince is now firmly focused on meeting with investors, leading business people, key figures in the entertainment industry, young entrepreneurs and students.  Each stop, and each meeting has been carefully chosen to reflect key pillars of Saudi Vision 2030 which aims to see a shift from an oil-based economy; greater diversification in the work force and entrepreneurship; and a bigger and more equal role for women across all sectors of society in the Kingdom.

The focus on education and entrepreneurship was seen during Crown Prince Mohammed’s visit to Boston and renowned MIT, where new collaborative agreements were signed between key forum participants from the academic and private sectors and inaugurated by the Crown Prince. One of those of signings was a collaborative agreement between Saudi Aramco and MIT focused on global energy, climate, environmental sciences, and the transformation and sustainable development of the energy sector.

After being voted as person of the year on Time.com in 2017, it’s no wonder that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s trip to the United States has people talking about his visit from the East Coast to the West Coast. It will only further ties between these two important and strategic allies, and establishes a new chapter of even greater collaboration.
